Hey there, just got myself thinking, when I was young my brother (who's only 2 years older than me) and I used to fight alot and disagree with each other, as kids do ;). I am a mother of 2, Noah (10) and Ashleigh (20) and they get along like best friends most of the time. Do you think that kids are more likely to get along the larger the age gap or the exact opposite?

Nope, my oldest 2 are 2.5 years apart and the best of friends. I then have a 6 year gap between 2 and 3 and all of my kids get along great.
It actually depends on the personalities of the children. You know that in life we don't get along with everyone so why should siblings that have conflicting personalities have to get along?

It depends on the kids and they're relationships w/ each other more than the age spacing. I have twins that get along fairly well considering they are pretty much together 24/7... They are about to turn 14 and their 7 year old brother drives them absolutely bonkers most of the time. They really don't have anything in common, so it's hard.
