Ok so heres my story. Back in Feb i had a miscarriage. We have been trying for months to conceive again. My period is a very on the clock period. Until this month. I was 6 days late with my period and took test which came out neg. I started what i belived was my period on the 28th. This period is a lot lighter than any of my normal periods and today on 8/1 it looks to be done. I am waking up feeling sick to my stomach and am more tired than normal. I have twinges of pain everyso often around the nipple area. Could this mean i may still be pregnant but be one of those cases where i still have periods or am i just paranoid. Any advice or similar cases and if so what was your results?

Home tests are NOT 100% accurate and do NOT always work. I don't know how many people I have known over the years that had negative tests and were pregnant or had positive tests and were not. If you are not comfortable with the home test results see your doctor IMMEDIATELY!! Our doctor seems to be booking into next month so if your doctor is the same case go to Emerge or a walk-in clinic asap!! There is also something called psudo-pregnancy where a woman can WANT to have a baby so badly that their body gives signs and symptoms of a pregnancy, even having a growing tummy!! Nothing there though!! So with the miscarriage, it is hard to tell. I am so very sorry to hear about your miscarriage. :( But I would get in to a doctor to get properly tested and checked-out asap!! If you ARE pregnant then you need to get on the proper diet, proper vitamins, etc. I wish you all the best!! Goodluck!! If you aren't pregnant then just give it time. It will happen for you. :)

It could be implantation bleeding. Sometime when the fertilized egg implants in the uterine wall you might have a little spotting right around the time you would expect your period (2 weeks after conception). I had this with my second child. Good luck!

Your hormones could be in a flux after your miscarriage. I would definitely seek medical advice and a blood test to confirm or deny you are pregnant. When you are wanting to be pregnant so much, your body senses that and can fool you. Be mindful, that you can bleed even if you are pregnant and assume it is your period. Good luck

I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Such an emotional time for us women. I can relate to everything you are talking about. A woman's hormones are way crazy after a miscarriage. Your body needs some time to re-balance. Your symptoms suggest that to be the problem. You should definitely check with your doctor and do a test. Unfortunately, doctors are not always helpful when it comes to hormones and don't always know what to do or have a way to get a complete picture. There are nutritional answers that can make a big difference. Contact me if you want more info. I know it worked for me.

Call your doc and have them do a blood test to see if your pregnant. The results show up earlier than the at-home tests. Sounds like you could have spotting and be pregnant, but the blood test will tell you for sure.

Good morning Jackie, I have had a full pregnancy with your symptoms like yours that lasted for the first 6 months. I would go and see the doctor about it just to be on the safe side. No need to stress and worry about if you are or aren't sweetheart. ♥

I think that you should make an apointment with your OBGYN as soon as possible and let him/her know what is going on just to be on the safe side.

I would definately call your doctor. I didn't have any bleeding with my first pregnancy and I miscarried my second at 14 weeks. When I got pregnant again, I had bleeding a week after my positive pregnancy test; of course, I was sure I was miscarrying again, but it was just "normal" bleeding. My daughter was fine and is now a healthy three year old! So, don't give up hope.

I don't think anyone should rely on the home pregnancy test. They can give you a false positive or a false negative at anytime. If you have concerns or worries you should go to the Drs and get checked out. Especially after having a miscarriage.

It is very difficult to deal with a miscarriage- and when you want a baby so much, people tend to put more stock in symptoms they know indicate pregnancy. Keep trying;) and go get pregnancy tests_btw, Walgreens brand works as well as the rest;) good luck to you!

Did you see a Dr. when you had the miscarriage in Feb.? If so, was it a confirmed miscarriage, and did you have an ultrasound done to see if there was anything left in the womb? Sometimes after a miscarriage, there are remnants that get left behind, and they need to do a DNC to clean out anything. If this was all done in Feb., then you may be pregnant again, but it is too soon to tell by over the counter test, a Dr. can do a blood test and confirm for sure much earlier than a regular urine test. Hope that helps. Been there, done that.

I would give it a week or two and test again. I'm going through something similar, including additional symptoms. My sister went 2-3 months with negative preg tests, though continued to see symptoms, and now has a beautiful baby girl to show for it. There is hope.

I would go to your OBGYN and take a blood test, to find out if your pregnant.
When I had my 2nd pregnancy I had like a period but it was very light and so I went to the doctor and he took a blood test and sure enough I was pregnant. I don't want to put your hope up high. I would go to your doctor and get a blood test done to find out if your pregnant. Good luck

One good thing you can do is take is red raspberry leaf tea, the herbal kind. It is great for strengthening the female organs and will keep you healthy. Red raspberry is a great agent for cleansing a canker condition of the mucous membranes in the alimentary tract, leaving the tissue toned. In pregnancy the infusion, when taken regularly, has been known to quiet premature pains and produce a safe, speedy and easier delivery. I would definately recommend it if you are pregnant or even if you are not.

You could be pregnant, but you could also have a false pregnancy (you could be talking your body into believing it's pregnant). My sister had a regular period for the first 4 months of her first pregnancy, so I wouldn't get too discouraged. Good luck!

I have been here! But I denied it and thought it was in my head! My husband and I miscarried, triplets and were trying trying trying! The moment, I stop going to doctors(their advice was just let nature happen) I felt the very complaints your speaking of. I was the only one who thought it was in my head! I took a test@ home which. Was negitive. I knew better I was told I will never pop positive on the store brought test. So my husband convinced me to go to my pcp, saying maybe I had a stomach virus. Lol hummmmm I was 2 months pregnant and counting! So very possible. My advice go get a blood test at doctor, my baby is now due sept. 9.

i would go see the doctor, i had my first daughter 23 years ago, then i was told i would be very unlikly to have any more children, 13 years later after having used no birth control i fell pregnat and had a miscarriage, then 4 years later it happened again but i wasnt feeling right after it so i went to the consuktant at the hospital and i still had bits inside me so he recommended a dnc which after i had done i felt much better, i went on to have my beautiful daughter who is now 8, you may be pregnant but i would ring the hospital, and speak to one of the consultants there, wish you luck

I'd take a second test. Some people don't have enough pregnancy hormone in their system for a while after conception.

I've had this with first pregnancy - and yes, I was indeed pregnant and 9 months later, had healthy baby boy. With your history, might want to just check in with your doctor. Won't hurt. Meanwhile, I was told to take it easy and see what happens, but we're talking 40 years ago. I'm sure much has changed since then...so please just check in.

call your dr to get blood labs done.. sometimes HCG levels are too low to show up on pregnancy tests, but blood tests are 100% accurate.. The same thing happened to me I was a week late and I ended up not being pregnant from blood tests... The dr said sometimes your stressed cause you want to be pregnant, so it messes with your period

I would take another test (pee on a stick). If it is still negative it is most likley that you're not pregnant, possible that you could have had a very early miscarriage, or what they call I think, a missed miscarriage? Usually the amount of HCG in your urine drops very fast when you miscarry. I am sorry for your miscarriage before and hope this was not a miscarriage. I had a m,iscarriage once and I know nothing I can say will really help, so I will just say I am sorry for your loss and hope for happier days ahead for you...

Hi Jackie, i didn't have a miscarriage but i too.had something simular happen to me. I had a wedding to go to and i wanted to go and cut loose and have a few drinks and before i went i too took a test and it was neg so i went to wedding had a great time. The next week i schedualed a appt because i was having alot of sighns that i was pregnant.and i told her that i was having the signs so i took a test the test at doctors office was positive .was happy about it but was dissapointed in myself because i found out that i was drinking during pregnacy but i really didn't know at the time because i took several test and they came out neg. My doctor told me it was because i didn't have enough pregnacy hormone in my system. So if i where u you might want to make a appointment and u might be surprised at what u find out wish u the best of luck.l
