I am a student dietitian from the Department of Human Nutrition at the University of Otago, New Zealand. I am currently doing the research project: EAT-5 study as part of my Master of Dietetics (MDiet) degree.
The EAT-5 study is looking at the food intake of 5 year old (60-72 months) school children in Dunedin. We are looking for parents who have a 5 year old child who would like to know more about what their child is eating. Participation will take a maximum of about 3 and 1/2 hours over a month.
If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to fill out some questionnaires and to weigh and record what your child eats for three days over a month. We will lend you some scales to do this. We will also measure your child’s height and weight at the first appointment.
You will receive a $25 grocery voucher at the end of the study. You are eligible to be in the EAT-5 study if you have a 5 year old (60-72 months) child who is healthy.
If you'd like to participate, or have any questions about the study, please email email@example.com
