Are families not allowed to accompany spouses to korea?

It depends on where at in South Korea. If you're closer to North Korea, then families aren't allowed to go. If you're husband is going to the southern part of South Korea, then families are allowed.

Just to clarify, I nor my husband is in the military, so I may be wrong concerning Korea-I just remember my friend going through this- so just going by what she told me when her husband went to Korea

I assume you are talking about military.. Maybe so It depends if he/she is going longer than a year. My friends husband who was in the military went to Korea and she was not able to accompany him because it was only a year- if he would've stayed longer she would of been able to accompany him. There are also 2 bases in s.korea and also would depend on which one he was going to.
