Labor and Delivery Class for 2nd timers

I did the first time mainly for my husband. I would not do it again. Just because the info does not change. I also do labor and delivery as a nurse everyday. So I probably already know too much. If you have a new partner though it might be helpful for them.

we signed up for them but in the end decided we didnt want to sit through the class I was really worried because everyone was telling me how bad it was going to be but it really wasnt bad the nurses were really nice I soaked in the bath up until I had my son and it really helped to dilate faster and ease the pain the nurses said alot of women reccomend it
I went to the class (it was held on one saturday) and found it a little useful but like Amy I had done a bucket load of research before so I knew most of the information they gave me, I feel it helped my hubby more than me because he is a visual person and needed the demonstrations the midwives gave. I am 16 weeks pregnant again and will not be re-taking it I already know the information and don't need a refresher (my son is only 15 months old).
I did for my first because it was my first and I wasn't sure what to expect exactly. I aglad i did because I had to make quite a few decisions during my labor and it helped to be prepared but I am that type of person too. We are currently pregnant with baby number two and I dont plan in taking another course. I know this one will be a c section again.

I went to National Childbirth Trust classes with my first. I was only 17 and felt people in general thought they could push me into certain things because I was so young, so I decided to be as prepared and informed as possible. I didn't go to any with number 2 and 3.
