Everyone will always tell you the horror stories. You have done it once so you know what to expect.
If you do need to be induced then go in to it as if you were in labor naturally. Every labor and birth is different though.

Michelle is right. Each woman's labor and delivery are different and if she has more than one child each of those pregnancies are also different. I went into labor on my own with my daughter but they gave me the hormones to speed up labor. I was already having the largest and hardest contractions. I was still 20 hours of labor and delivery with her. I even slept through that last phase of labor where the contractions get the hardest of all! I had to be induced with my son. Labor would start but would not last. I was in labor to delivery from midnight to 8:38 am. Neither of my labor/delivery experiences were bad because they had to help along or induce my labor. And since I had my labor helped along with my first, I was able to handle the second time better. Also, my daughter had to have help with her labor speeding it up and she did not take any pain meds.

Just know that you will soon have the "eat, sleep, poop machine" in your arms. That's what my husband calls newborns and I think it's pretty accurate.
Good luck with it all and I wish you a healthy baby at the end.

Why don't you want to be induced?
My induction was the best labor out of my 3. 50mins from start to finish. He was ready to come out, just needed a bit of encouragement.

Baby will come when he or she is ready. Whatever you do, DON'T take castor oil, that can be dangerous for the baby.
All I can suggest is keep moving. Walking is great as gravity helps to get baby to push on your cervix, that's how labor starts.
