Late period after tubal

I just had my son December 12th via c-section.. I had what I thought was my first period about five weeks ago now and I'm just concerned I haven't had my period yet.. I had my tubes tied while I was having the c-section so I just really want some advice bc I'm too afraid of what a test is going to say considering they told me after that my uterus is too thin for me to want to have any more children bc it could kill us both...

You should take a pregnancy test at home and regardless of the outcome you should contact your physician. Try to take the test with your first morning urine. It is not uncommon for your cycle to be irregular for a little bit. However you want to make sure that the tubal was successful.

It can take a while for your body to get back normal after having children, sometimes 6 months or so.
If you are ever concerned then you should see your doctor, we can't do any tests to determine what is going on.
