Leaving my breastfed baby overnight

I am 17 and have an 11 month old baby. I am going back to school next month. She was pretty much exclusively breastfed for the first 10 months of her life and has only just started properly eating solids, she still won't take a bottle or a sippy cup. She's very, very attached to me.

Anyway, I just found out that there is a camp in the first week back. It's for 3 nights and based 3 hours from my house. This camp is accounts for a huge percentage of your final grade for the year. I can't go but I can't skip it either. What the heck do I do? I was concerned enough about leaving my baby for 6 hours during the day but DAY and NIGHT for 4 days, 3 nights is just insane. My daughter sleeps with me every night, nurses all the time and she hates bottles, no matter who gives them to her. My boyfriend has work so the last thing I want is for him to be up all night with a screaming baby and then have to go to work the next day.

Your probably thinking it's a no brainer, I am going to have to stay behind with my baby but seriously, not going will completely ruin the whole year for me, I may not even be able to pass. I need to come up with some sort of solution here and need suggestions!!

Exactly my point that you may need to wait another year to go back or find an alternate way to make up this grade.... if you've missed all this time already it makes no sense to go back RIGHT when you will have to leave your baby for several days...

School hasn't just started, the other students have been there since February - I am going back since having my daughter

I'm with Dove on this one. What kind of class has a field exercise during the first WEEK that is going to have a huge impact on the final grade? That is unheard of in our area, both in HS or at University level. Not that I'm not believing you, just seems strange to me.
You've got a month to help her transition. You need to work in it, if you wish to attend this class.

What kind of school requires you to attend a camp for your grade? Talk to the teacher about an alternate assignment.

If you are JUST going back to school after having your baby... I'm not sure how something in your first week back will ruin the whole year. I'm pretty confused here. You may just need to wait another year or find another alternative to passing this class.
