I am with my boyfriend for 14 years 2 kids in common..we're not married..it's time to leave can I move out of state..what's the legality of this?

I agree with Evelyn. You can't just up and move wherever you like with the children. He is their father and has rights too.

What do you mean it is time to leave? And if you have kids together moving out of state and taking them from their father is not going to be just as simple as you think. He has as much right to those kids as you do. Legally, he can stop you from moving if he files for custody and visitation. You should check with an attorney about this.
