I have 4 children. 2 successfully launched. 3 child is now, 18 and a senior. He has battled depression, recently diagnosed with add, and has a learning dis. Using drugs, feels incredibly entitled, disrespectful etc. my marriage is gong south and I am so angry w hubby for his lack of leadership. My youngest, 15 manages all departments well but I am very protective of him being effected by his older brother. I feel no where to turn and am paralyzed w worry.

It sounds like DS3 needs a wake up call. Is he getting any counseling at school? Have you done anything to help him with his drug issue? Both those things need to happen ASAP - counseling and help kicking the drug habit. If he is 18 he is legally an adult even though he is still in high school -- which, as a Mom makes it tougher but really to save him from himself he needs that wake up call. In addition, you need to work things out with your husband - he needs to come first. And DS4 does need you to protect him so he doesn't get into the same things problems as DS3. PLEASE get help for your family -- if you would like to call 855-382-5433, Focus on the Family can provide a free phone consultation with a licensed counselor. Often talking to someone can really help - I know it's helped me in the past so I would encourage you to reach out to them -- or SOME professional who can help point you in the right direction.
