I love making salads but always have a hard time getting my son to eat.
How do you prepare kid friendly lettuce recipes?
What kind of lettuce do you use?

@ Christina: NOT APPROPRIATE for this board.

@ Kayla: my kids were never given a choice of whether or not to eat lettuce. If I fixed it, and we were eating it as part of a meal, my kids ate it.

Butter crunch is good, slightly sweeter than iceburg, romaine, etc. I found that growing our own made a big difference, because the kids could 'pick dinner' from the garden. You don't have to have a lot of space, either. Container gardens are great.

Using lettuce in place of bread or tortillas in a wrap style is awesome, too
