I have two boys (almost 2-P and almost 4-L) and my younger son has decided today, that P needs to bite my L. P bit L HARD twice before L went to school... tried time out, scolding and even popped him in the mouth... Not sure what to do. I know the sibling thing is normal and mine have a higher sense of jealousy because L is autistic and does get more attention in different ways. Any ideas moms out there?

@ Sal- I wish I could just tell L not to react... L is 3 and autistic. He is just starting to register that pain hurts and really does not understand cues on how to/not to react.
@ Sherri- I thought the same thing and I know that is what my dad did with my sister but idk if I was/am scared of his reaction or what... ?

it is going to be difficult but in my situation it worked with 1 gok ignor him, get your older son (this is the hard bit) to not react, not cry not run to you just simply not to react at all. my daughter was a devil for it, i tried everything for weeks until i told my son not to react, (he was 12 so was better able to understand what i was doing, and was sick of being bitten and was willing to try anything) she done it 1 more time, and was so confused by the reaction, or lack of, she never did it again,

This won't be the popular answer but when I had this problem I bit my son back, so he could feel how it felt to be bitten. It nips it in the bud pretty quick.
