Looking after special needs teenage boy

A neighbour of mine has an opportunity to visit her parents in Australia for three weeks and I have offered (now with deep regret) to look after her special needs son aged 13 years who is doubly incontinent so she can relax and enjoy the trip. My husband has gone beserk however I feel I can not let her down as she is so excited. The boy is in nappies, and another female friend said she will help me bathe him, but that is all. I really feel bad about this, I have seen my friend change him at coffee mornings he is really just a very big baby but he can be physically challenging I am worried about caring for him on my own in case he kicks off any advice would be welcomed
