Now that it's getting cooler for many of us, we have children with so much extra energy (I know I'm not the only one) So in my search for indoor activities I found this. Figured I would pass it along for anyone who would like to get some ideas.

I found the site and it's great tons of activities for kids to do. I only wish they would have put pictures up.

My kids really enjoy "helping" in the kitchen. Little ones can be held up to see the food nummies. Tiny finger foods can be put at their level to teach good habits. Older kids can begin to stir for you, and later chop. My big girl now is a much better cook than I. She helps teach her little brother. We keep a bowl and some utensils out on the floor for the baby to "help" too. Kids feel really proud when they help put meals or snacks together. They really love "special" foods like latkes or mole.
