My 2.5 year old daughter used to do that. It used to make me so mad. One thing we did was to put plastic wrap over the diaper to hold it tightly to the child. Maybe tight pajama pants over the diaper. The reason we used the carters pajamas was because they were fitted and she couldn't get her hands out of the sleeves. What we did was buy pj's one size up and put them on backwards. THey still zip up and button at the top and their feet still go in the footie part they just twist a bit. You could even duct tape the button and zipper in the back so that there is no possible way to get in it. Good luck. We eventually outgrew the eating of the diaper, but she still tries to strip herself if her clothes are not backwards.

Thanks Kadi...however we are past that point. I should have been more specific. We have gotten her the sleeper keeper pj's...that may be the wrong name. They zip in back and have snaps over zipper and non stretch seams. And we put a zip tie on the zipper. She still somehow gets her diaper off. And eats the contents...or the diaper. Ugh so unhealthy and messy. Sometimes she gets all the clothes off and sometimes we have no idea how she got to the diaper. We are really at a loss for what else to do.
