Looking to switch from infant carrier to rear facing convertible car seat. Any suggestions on which one to get? or not to get?

Anything with a high weight limit (35-40 pounds) for rear facing should be good. When I was looking to get one I had only ONE option, so... that's what I got. It's an Evenflo something or other and has served us well so far.

Britax is a good brand, but tends to be quite pricey.

We just got a convertible car seat it's the safety first 3 car seats in one (infant, toddler, booster) I haven't installed it yet but when I put our son in it he looked way more comfortable than in his infant seat. I think it was on sale at Burlington coat factory for $89. It was an early Christmas present from my mother in law so I'm not positive about the price.
