Jason is now 21. He has taken a few courses in college but has dropped most and is now living with my ex after growing up at home with me. He is increasingly isolating himself and has more frequent panic attacks, outbursts and has also started being delusional and hears voices. The sad part is that he wasn't like this prior to taking meds. I fault myself for really not investigating the meds that were prescribed by his doctors. But I'm not the expert and trusted the medical society to help him. Then after visiting a new psychiatrist he was placed on new meds. Jason felt he could be his own Dr and only took the meds that he felt were right for him. Things got so bad that his mother would return to her apartment and walking up the stairs she would hear him yelling, cursing and crying out for help. We felt the only thing we could do is have him admitted short term to a facility. Even though I am a physically large and strong man, I am emotionally broken and don't know what to do. We have tried volunteer work programs, working for me, local Asperger groups, homeopaths, therapists galore, etc. Nothing seems to work. Is there anything else that anyone can recommend?
