Losing the pregnancy weight...

Any advice on losing pregnancy weight? I put on 20 kgs (45lbs), a good portion of that in the last 2 weeks. I wasn't able to breastfeed for a variety of reasons, and 4 months later I remain a good 12 kgs (28lbs) over my pre-pregnancy weight . I love my daughter but I'm not an overweight person and being in that category now has completely affected my self esteem. Trying to eat healthy and working out about 4 times a week for about 40 mins each time, but if anyone has anything else that worked for them for a busy new mum, I'm all ears....

Hi you might be interested in the body trim diet, you can look it up on the net but it is easy and only requires 20mins walking a day. I know alot of people who have a huge sucsess on it. Good luck and rememeber it took 10mths to put it on so you should give yourself the same to take it off again.

I have used mummy magic weight-loss tea for two months and got rid of all extra pregnancy weight. Now, I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight that's 135lbs.

I gained 51lbs during my pregnancy and at 4 months postpartum i was still 20lbs over my pre preg weight. Soon after I found the weight coming off much easier. Once your bodies hormone levels are back to normal you'll start to see it coming off, also sleep helps a lot!

At 4 months postpartum I was feeling really low about me weight too, I thought I was going to be that size forever. Now, after 7 months I am a few pounds lighter than my original weight. Keep your head up and remember what your body just went through, and be proud of yourself! Good luck!

Hi! I have gained 12kgs(28lbs) during my pregnancy and I left the most of it in the hospital n shed the rest within the 6wks post-partum, mainly thx to the brestfeeding...My daughter is 6months old now n Im still breastfeeding her n I weight even less then before I got pregnant... I go for walks with the stroller - good cardio, I pick her up often n carryin her around is like doing weights, I choose stairs instead of lift, I dance around the house etc..I cant diet due to the bfeeding, so its all up to well balanced n regular eating n moving around...

You could try to eat regularly, I know its difficult with small baby, but try, enough of sleep is important as well, if u dont sleep, you dont rest n dont get energy, so u get it from food...dont snack on sweets or fast food n move, drink plenty of water n green tea, forget sugar filled lemonades n drinks, also dont drink alcohol, many calories in there..good work out is pilates, it leans n tone ur muscles, u burn calories plus it makes ur back stronger, which is important for u as ur baby is gainin weight n u pick her up n carry her around all the time... n dont stress urself bout it, the extra weight will go off eventually, but more u will think bout it, harder it will be...good luck!!!
