Since this is not a group of doctors we cannot really assure that all will be fine. We can offer advice and ask questions to help you find out if all will be fine. First, I presume you are talking about kilograms not pounds? What was your baby's birth weight? Has he been gaining slowly since birth? Has he lost weight or just not gained in the last few days? Why are you checking his weight so often? If he has not gained in just the last few days, that is not really a cause to worry. Is he eating well? Reaching typical milestones? Seem alert and contented. Are you breast or bottle feeding and have you started solids yet?

He really only needs the nutrition from breastmilk or formula until he is one. A general rule of thumb is to double the birth weight by 6 months, and triple it at a year. He seems well on the way to reaching that weight. He was a tiny baby, was he early? Not gaining over several days or even a week or two is not unusual. Every baby will hit a plateau now and again, as long he is not losing steadily, IMO he's is probably fine. Has your doctor voiced a concern?
