Lullaby Music

[deleted account] ( 5 moms have responded )

I want to create a play list for my baby to fall asleep to.

His cot mobile plays snippet of Mozart's Lullaby but I cant find what it is actually called so I cant purchase or download it :(

Does anyone know what the title to that piece of music is called?

And what other music would you suggest to play while your baby sleeps?

I played language tapes for my son. They consisted of folk music of the country and little sayings like Good Night baby in German, Spainsh, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese,Russian. The earlier a baby is exposed to the sounds of the foreign words the easier it is for them to learn a 2nd or 3rd language later. My son is now 11 and has had the opportunity to have Spanish since Kindergarten in his school and he breezes through it. My mother and Great Aunts spoke to him amd sang in Italian when he was an infant too. The folk music was really soothing and lovely and different than most classical lullabys which I also loved. Music is good for the soul. :-)

i would suggest looking at the baby einstien lullaby cd's. if you cant afford them you could take a pen and paper with you to the store and write down the names of the song and the musician. then you will know what to look for when downloading. they are full of classical music. hope this helps!
