I have lumps under my nipples i am not pregnant and i have no clue what this could be! I will make an appointment by the doctor on monday but am wondering if anybody has had this or knows what it might be? The lump is about 2cm and on the left nipple you can actualy see that theres a lump from the outside..

I understand, I have a few people in my family who've passed due to breast cancer or other cancers & when it comes to our health as women it's a big deal...good luck

I know you are worried but it is more than likely benign. My prayers are with you. I hope you'll update. But you're doing the right thing by making an appointment, it's so much better to be safe than sorry...

I dont think its montgomery glands, the lump is much deeper under the nipple.. it feels like a knot..
I am not pregnant and i am also not due for my period and i have never had something like this..

If you worry about those 'funny bumps' on the areola, those are supposed to be there; they are called Montgomery glands or areolar skin glands. Their function is partially unknown, but scientists suppose they secrete a liquid that lubricates the nipple/areola area. These Montgomery glands can be about unnoticeable, OR stand out as bumps on the areola. They often become more prominent during pregnancy. Also, it appears they are white in some women.
