I am always trying to find things to feed my kindergartener for lunch. I have such a hard time finding things that she wants to eat. I have a major picky eater.

She makes it here because I don't eat lunch or breakfast. (Solid food anyways) I have stomach paralysis so most of the food I eat is liquid.

Hence she is the only one that's here for lunch. I just hate making a big lunch for only her. So I was hoping for some ideas that are quick and easy. Yet kid friendly. She always eats a fairly good breakfast and a healthy dinner. (Cereal and then whatever I make) it's just hard to find lunch things. I don't want to give her soup it Mac n cheese everyday because that gets old quick.

If if were up to her she would eat for lunch what I eat for dinner ( 1 Sm apple, hand full of almonds and some cheese) but I know that's not what her little 5 year old body needs to be consuming for lunch everyday.

I have to eat a paleo diet so yes we are all very picky eaters. It's not just her. Any suggestions would be great. Slights at my parenting not so much.
Thanks!!

Well, she'd never survive at my house. Picky eaters generally come about becasue mom and dad don't enforce "eat what's in front of you", or at the very least "one bite of everything".

What WILL she deign to eat? Feed her that. If it's a concern about school lunch time, you may have to explain to her that we don't always get what we WANT, nor should we, but since you provide her with food to meet her NEEDS, she needs to eat it.
