my daughter is 13 and has way to much makeup, she buys makeup out of her own money and all she asks for,for her birthday and christmas is makeup.is it ok to actually let your teenage daughter wear a lot of makeup.as my daughter always wears makeup for school to parties,to christians and basically everyday.she has filled up the spare room with makeup clothes and shoes.is this okay.

She needs to be taught a healthier outlook. Make up is an accessory, NOT A NECESSITY.

Only you, her mother, can teach her this. I'd recommend you get started.

I agree with the others. You should have set some healthy boundaries for her on the makeup and the clothing. Its an obsession for her it seems. And where does that money come from that she is using for all this. She needs to learn that makeup and clothing does not make a person but what is inside. I think its time for you to clean house....

Make up all the time is not necessary for ANYONE, let alone a girl this age. She needs to learn to love her natural self. There is really nothing worse than seeing a 13 year old plastered with make-up on an everyday basis.

I am concerned that you are allowing her to fill the spare room with clothes and make up. That's YOUR space. Why would you allow it?

You may also have a shopaholic on your hands. Where is she getting all this money from?

this would be a bit unhealthy because it can clog pores and apart from that it can make her face look drawn down in the future. if i were u i would allow her but not often only on occasions
