Every time my 17 year old son want's to play with his 3 year old brother no matter if it's playing with car's, blocks or just sit and giving Huggies, my 3 year old has to let out this load ear piercing scream!!!! I'm at my wits end with this. Yes I did the works ignore, time out, taking things, walk away, whisper, talked to his Dr,inside outside voice even said to my older boy to walk away, put him down, He tells him if your going to scream like that I'm not going to play anymore. That does work once in a purple moon but than as soon as they sit and start zooming cars across the floor I hear it that horrific SCREAM!! My older boy did do the same once, while I was driving scared the crap out of me, made sure he was OK I did pop his mouth, I KNOW LET ME HEAR IT LOL but honestly HE NEVER DID IT AGAIN.

Don't make it a punishment. If he wants to scream... he can. He just needs to do it where no one else can hear him.

That's a OK idea but my thought on that is this would scare him of being alone and bed time would be a fight because in his mind this is my punishment. He only get's his scream on when big bro is around and their playing.

I agree, the less attention you pay to his negative behavior the more likely he will quit. If he screams, plunk him on his bed and shut the door, just like Dove advised. No one talks to him, no one engages, no reward for his behavior. He may just be really excited?

Let him scream in his room w/ the door shut. Each and every time he screams... send him to the 'scream room'. He'll either get tired of getting sent to his room and stop... or he'll get to scream all he wants where it won't 'bother' anyone.
