Hi, my daughter had a coil put in through laparoscopy to treat her endometriosis but it hasn't settled in so her doctor has got to take it out, but she is not keen on having it taken out vaginally which I understand as she is still quite young, is there any other options even if there is nothing else wrong in that area?

The Marina coil has to be removed vaginally as far as I know. No other safe options. IF for some reason it could not be removed vaginally, I suppose it could be removed surgically, but I would use that only as a very, very last resort.
It takes less than 20 minutes--sometimes less than 10 minutes. She'll be in and out of the doctor's office in less than an hour.
