So my daughter has a content cold, we have been to multiple doctors, the one we are currently seeing says she has asthma. He has her on 5 different medications a day, some if them twice a day.. none of them seem to be helping her "asthma" do you think I should keep her on the meds or seek another opinion? This is about the 9th doctor we have been to... everyone gives me the same answer, but nothing seems to help her :(

Having asthma myself and knowing she's on 5 different meds I would seek another opinion. My guess would be that she needs a preventive medication and a rescue inhaler and that's it. 5 different meds sounds like a bit of overkill. Good luck and best wishes!

I would try bio feedback. My son had symptoms the doctors had never seen before and they were doing test after test and still couldn't figure it out. The bio feedback showed problems with his liver and thyroid, just some virus. He is 4 now with no problems with his health. I'm not saying the doctors are all wrong, but this may help with a different view of the problem, and maybe a different solution. It is also non invasive. No needles, no peeing in cups :)

She's been tested for allergys, she doesn't have any, they tried to test her for cyctic fibrosis but couldn't do the test, and 3 of the doctors have said asthma, but the meds aren't working. She's had this 'cold' now since she was 2 days old still in the hospital. She's now 20 months.

If you've been to 9 doctors and only one of them thinks it's asthma and the meds aren't working I would probably stop them but would speak to a doctor first or pharmacist to make sure abruptly stopping won't shock the system. Has she been tested for allergies? Also is it possible you have mold growing in your house which could be creating this constant cold like symptoms? Good luck, I hope you're able to get this figured out!
