Melatonin for ADHD Kids

Hi, my daughter who is now 8 has not slept through a night, even when she was an infant. She is about to be tested for learning disabilities (in Grade 3) and possibly ADHD, ADD and/or Dyslexia. She is usually awake until 11 or 12 and only sleeps for a couple of hours at a time (if that). She keeps the Wii on but is now having anxiety that the remote is not working (because the batteries have died). Thinking of giving her melatonin to 1. help her get to sleep and 2. to keep her sleeping even for a trial period, so that she doesn't have dark circles under her eyes and we can also get some much-needed rest. Not of sure of the dosage. She is about 80 pounds. Anyone?
