I delivered a baby girl in 17th March 2016, now 6 months have passed still I'm not getting my periods can I take tablets for getting periods to avoid another pregnancy ??

I agree, if you are EBF, you may not get a period. You should still use BC.

Have you checked you are not already pregnant again?

The fact is, you can get pregnant before your periods start again - ovulation comes before the period. You should be using birth control anyway, even if your periods have not returned.

Having said that.....I will ask if you are breastfeeding or formula feeding. Breastfeeding may delay your ovulation for a period of time. However you should use birth control regardless.
