Not having your period is nothing to worry about if your nursing. It will come back eventually. I gave birth to my daughter Sept. 17, 2012 and she is a breastfed baby. I just got my period yesterday. I was hoping it would have lasted longer. I actually went with out a period for 2 years straight because I gave birth in August 2011 & then ended up pregnant 4 months later so I had my period once before I ended up pregnant again. It was nice not having one. I didn't miss it but now with all the cramping and not being able to take pain meds because of breastfeeding it's awful. My youngest never wanted anything to do with a bottle. When she was 4 months we went straight to sippy cups.

With my first child it took just over a year for my period to come back. With my second my period took even longer and didn't come back until she was 19 months old. Both were breastfed until around 2 years.
If you're breastfeeding I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy not having a period while you can!
Both of my kids hated the bottle as well. They didn't like sippy cups either so we moved straight onto cups with soft straws at a very young age.

It's normal for you not to have a period then Sweetie. Some women don't have any the entire tome they nurse. I breastfeed all of my kids, and didn't get my period for about 9 to 10 months. My kids HATED the bottle. Have you tried a sippy cup?
