Hello Circle of Moms,
I don't know the gender of my baby, but I just don't want to make the name too Mexican or too Black... Give me 5 boy & 5 girl names, so I can find out which ones I like (:

I have 1 boy name;
Ray III
I also have 2 girl names;
Raylin or RayKim

------> what do y'all think???

RayKim is a little weird to me. It sounds like you just stuck two names together.

I do love the name Ray for a boy or a girl (My name is Ray, I am a girl, but I hear a lot of American boys named Ray)

For a boy, I love Kai (Strong Tree in my native) and Jacy (moon). Jacy is a boy name that is being used a lot for a girl now.
I don't have 5, but those 3 Ray,Kai, and Jacy are probably my all time favorites, and Ray and Jacy can be a boy or a girl. I married into a very proper English family, so my son has a very proper English name.....Sometimes I think it is boring and I should have stood my ground and insisted he have some of my heritage in it. Do you have any family names that have been passed down from your ancestors? Ray has been in my family for 11 generations. If we had a girl, she would have been Ray too, but we had a boy and my husband wanted him to have the English name.

I also have a friend named Kim, and I that is another boy name that I think makes a beautiful girl name. He and his wife are expecting, and they plan to name their daughter Kim Ray. Which is sort of like your RayKim, but reversed and with each name being it's own. She will go by Ray though, because it is more feminine and because with her dad being Kim too, it could get confusing. I think Kimberly is the girl version of Kim, but I'm not as big a fan because it is long and too many rolling sounds.

Thank you Gene,
I really like the names, you put out there. I thought bout Rayden as well. Only cause my hubby wants his name in our baby name, even if its a boy or girl! I would say andres, is too Mexican but that's my opinion..

pls apologize if my name suggestions dont sound blaxican enough lol. I also dont really like RayKim but i do like Raylin,the only thing i would change is spelling it Raylinn. I love the name Ray for a boy or girl. I also like the name Riley for a girl or Adana. My black friend has a girl and i love her name,its Jozey (Jo-zey) i find it real cool! For a boy i like Ayden..wich makes me think you could even change it to Rayden! Another nice boy name is Andrés. Thats all i can think of atm,if a name pops up in my mind i will write it to you. Good luck
