Is it ok to warm my baby bottle in the microwave?

I've heard conflicting reports about it. Personally, I didn't do it when there was another option, like the ability to purchase a cup of hot water or a bottle warmer, but if those weren't accessible and a microwave was I used it. As long as you make sure to shake it really well to get rid of hot spots and test it on your hand it should be fine

No, it is better to warm the bottle in a bottle warmer. You can purchase these from most major retailers for less than $20.

I'm a mother of 4, with my first in 1999 and my last in 2008. With my first, there was nothing wrong with it. Then by the time I had my last, the medical field was saying no! Reason being, you can burn the baby, and it takes the nutrients out of the milk. I am a very laid back mom. I think as long as you shake it up real good after microwaving it and then test it, it's fine. But, as far as the nutrients, I'm not sure. I breast fed all mine until they were a year, then switched to formula, but I would feed them breast milk in a bottle so that I could leave them with my mom or my husband could feed them. So, take it as its worth. I hope it helped a little. :)
