Mirena removal and spotting

I just had my Mirena removed 3 days ago. I had it for a little over 3 years. No problems with it at all. My periods were irregular, if I even one at all. I read that if you have intercourse a couple days before removal and if youwere ovulating that you could still become pregnant since sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days. Well I had Mirena removed 3 days ago, and just started spotting a little today. But I also had sex last night. Is it really possible to become pregnant this soon after the removal? And if I am spotting (assuming it is from removal) could I still become pregnant this cycle?

Yes you can become pregnant as soon as you have it removed. Although I didn't start trying right away I was pregnant within 3 months of having mine taken out.
