my grand daughter whom i just got custody of, is 16. she has been diagnosed as bi-polar heres my concern, she still plays with babydolls, needs help bathing if not she wont wash herself. has no concept of money, at times she is withdrawn kinda like in her own world. the doctor who i take her to is starting to agree with me however the school still has her in regular classes where she is made fun of everyday please help! i know during her delivery the oxygen was cut off from the brain for about 3 minutes. what could it be her pediatrician said she has the mind of an 7 year old

We are not specialists. We do not know what is wrong with your grand daughter. You need to take her to someone who can evaluate her more comprehensively. Raising a special needs child is very challenging, and you will need to know as much about her condition *from professionals* to determine the best course of action.
