Missing Mommy?

Hi! I am a FTM, and I just recently went back to work. I spend the days home with my little guy while my hubby is at work, and then I work part-time in the evenings once he gets home- so for most of the week there is only one of us home with our sweet boy at a time. It's obviously far from ideal, but it's what we have to do for right now. It started out just fine, but this past week my husband said our son has been absolutely inconsolable every night after I leave for work. He has been nothing but pleasant and stinkin' adorable for me during the day. Could it simply be that he misses his Mommy? He is only 3mos so I wasn't sure if maybe he entered some kind of needing Mommy all the time phase. I hate that both my guys are upset:( Any tips to get over this bump and help my hubby feel less helpless? Advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi there, my name is Dee and my little guy is 6 months old. The same thing happened to me a few months back with my husband as well so what we did was when the weekends came my husband spent every moment playing with him whether it was on the floor hanging out, spending time in the garden or just watching cartoons together. They had some serious bonding time as much as possible and he took to my husband instantly. I guess he needed that extra time with Daddy to really get to know him and bond with him. It worked for us anyways give it a try if you wish. Good Luck!!!!!

Also my husband fed him every time he was hungry so that helped the bonding as well!!
