You should not have sex for a couple months after having a baby, to let your body heal. And you should use birth control for a while after to not get pregnant and (again) let your body heal. Are you using protection? You should if you don't want to get pregnant again. There's no telling when your periods will start back up, and, since you ovulate before your period starts, you could get pregnant at any time. Better to be safe than sorry.

Breast feeding can stop you from having periods. If you're worried, talk to your doctor.
