There are some cheese flavored organic little cheddar bunnies from the brand Annie's that you can put in there if she eats solids. I got mine at Target by where the crackers are. I am also putting some Kix cereal that my ds likes and some other little finger foods like the Gerber puffs and stuff. It doesn't have to have too many things, but then a little bunny book or something will be cute too.

You know, when I was growing up in my Episcopalian household, toys were never part of Easter. We got a small basket with a little chocolate bunny, jelly beans and the eggs we colored ourselves. I was stunned when suddenly baskets had to be filled with toys. I think if people dont' stop to think about what they're doing, Easter will become just as commercialized as Christmas and the message of why one celebrates it will be utterly lost. Easter's a joyous but sober occasion.

Just my thoughts as a former Episcopalian turned atheist.

A more direct answer to your question is that you could put a little board book or something small. She's far too young to really comprehend anything in teh basket except maybe the shiny grass.

Easter baskets for 10months can be filled with a toy, pj's or new outfit, my mom used to buy me a easter figurine every year as a keep sake, bucket and shovel for sand, coloring book and crayons, stickers, story books are really cute. Even though she might not use some of the stuff straight away she will get use out of it. Its always hard being away from your baby. My daughter is 2.5 and I recently had to put her into daycare and I cried the first two days and she was fine!!!
