A mixture. If both of you think of yourself as Jamaican then that's what you will probably say your child is or they could be the nationality of the country of birth with Jamaican heritage.
I am Australian born but have Danish on both sides so say I am 1st generation Australian (on my Mum's side) with Danish heritage. My Mum was born in Denmark and there is Danish on my Dad's side.
My children are Australian (since they are all born here) but 2 have a South African Father and 1 has a Canadian father.
Really you are the nationality of your country of birth since that the country that will be issuing your passport and any legal documents. Your heritage can be a huge mixture.
