My daughter Miranda is 12 now and has heaps of long, red, vibrant hair and blue eyes. She gets a little freckly in the summer but can also go a nice tanned colour. She sometimes gets blue lips and when she was a baby they kept checking her heart but she's ok. She's just very pale most of the time. She looks like a mini Nicole Kidman and it's great at school fancy dress as she looks fab as The Red Queen (Queen of hearts). She has won trophies for performing and I tend to choose red-haired characters like Anne of Greengables etc and rejoice in the red. Most kids at secondary school are ok but there's always some who come out with nasty comments are stupid comments like 'Do you live in a gingerbread house' and 'gingers have no souls' etc... (Thankyou South Park for giving kids at school more ammunition to pick on red haired people).
I love red hair, it stands out and looks amazing in the sun. It's great for modelling jobs too. My husband and I are both dark haired but we had red haired grandparents so two generations later I gave birth to my red-haired beauty Miranda. Ahhh!!!
