My husband is military and I am a stay at home wife. We move every 3 years or so and we have a one year old daughter with another on the way in Dec. I'm looking for others who may be like me. Neither of our families support our decision to homeschool, neither dress modestly or live the way we do with our christian values. We believe the Lord leads us to live this way and everything we do is based on the bible and our personal relationship with the Lord. I would love some homeschooling advice, some words of encouragement or others who are going through the same thing. We've also left it up to the Lord to give us as many children as he sees fit, by adoption or naturally. Everyone we are surrounded by is very critical of us and our convictions and I would just like to meet friends who are supportive and have similar convictions. Thank you and God Bless!!

UPDATE: I closed the comments. I'm sorry but I don't need your judgement or any of your opinions. they are invalid to me because I'm looking for those who are like minded and I don't need your critisism. Judge and you will be judged. Blessings

You would be best searching through the communities to find some that suit. I know there are communities specifically for home schooling and Chritian Moms.

Hover over the My communities tab at the top and then click on all communities. Browse by alphbetical order.

You will get plenty of homeschooling moms here. But the modesty bit isn't going to get too many followers. Esp since you are enforcing a lifestyle choice on your daughter you yourself did not have to go through as a kid.

Actually there is nothing in the bible defining modesty. And extreme beliefs are just going to get your kids to rebel against you. As i said it's unfair to not let your child have a normal childhood and impose beliefs it took you into adulthood to reach, while denying them the chance to come to the same conclusions. What if your children grow up and have no desire to be christian, will you still force your views on them? And FYI god has nothing to do with the bible which is a human invention.

Its about a lifestyle that the Lord says we should live. And I live it everyday. My family was broken and continues to be. We had a really hard life. This is just another example of judgement. i don't need followers, I am searching for others like myself to befriend. God Bless
