mommy of a 18 month old bed switch how and when to do it?

Hi Amber- If your daughter is at this time your only child then there is no valid reason why she couldn't stay in her crib provided she has room. If on the other hand she needs to be out of her cot then the one thing that I would suggest is that the bed (or one side of it ) is close to the wall and a bed rail is purchased to stop her from rolling out. If you have a cot that converts to a bed them maybe try her out in it with a bed rail. The reason I say this is because it is low to the ground where as a single bed is higher. But either way a bed rail the 1 item that you MUST have for the little one.
