Moms seem to never get a day off!

Hello fellow mothers. I'm sending this message because as a full time worker, mother of 3 and wife I find that there is always More to do. My spouse is supportive but I sometimes wish he would do more. I have a 12 year old stepson, 6 year old son and a 19 month old daughter. My children are great but they require a lot. Which most kids do! I sometimes feel very overwhelmed after working an 8 hour day, picking up kids, preparing snacks, cooking dinner, helping with laundry, assisting with baths, reading stories and then prayers before bed. To be honest, my quiet time starts at 9pm and I'm generally sleep by 10 pm. My husband helps at times but generally once he gets off from his 12 hour shift he just wants to eat, take a bath, surf the net or watch tv. I don't blame him but I just would like one or two nights off, which leads me to my title: moms seems to never have a day off! I have so much more respect and appreciation for my mother because I truly took what she did for granted. She would always say a mothers job is never done and I would just sigh or minimize her statement! I guess I was just wondering if any other moms find themselves thinking the same things or desiring a little me time?
