I have chronic fatigue syndrome and it affects every aspect of my life, especially family time. My two year old daughter has learned that Mommy gets tired very frequently and needs to rest in a chair a lot and so cannot interact with her as Mommy would like. She has learned to be independent but is very compassionate when someone is not feeling well. She's only two and I feel like she has had to grow up so fast because of me. If she thinks I am doing so much she will tell me to sit down. She has gotten to were she will takes naps with me and she will sleep about as long as I do. I feel alone in dealing with this and lonely when there are days I just cannot stay awake and am away from the family.
Do any of you other moms have CFS and struggle with everyday activities and miss out on family time sometimes because you just need to be alone to sleep?
I am very distraught and need some advice. Thanks in advance.
