Month old baby tongue and gum is white

My daughter has a l month old baby and his tongue is white and his gum is also..what can she do until she sees a doctor. Or what can she use to clean his month..

Like Sarah said,it could be thrush. The doctors can give you an oral cream to apply in your babys mouth. My son had it when he was a few weeks old. I tried the a tiny bit of the cream (curios mommy) it was sweet and not bad at all. It was called Daktarin.

It could be a thrush (yeast) infection. It does need to be evaluated by a doctor and if it is thrush a "mouthwash" that you will swab his mouth with will probably be prescribed.
In the mean time, at 1 month there isn't much you can do except gently wipe his gums with a clean moist gauze pad or your finger wrapped in a clean, damp washcloth.
