Hi Annie,
I'm also Annie!

I hear what you are saying but I guess most of us are from the US. and wouldn't really know how to speak/write any differently, just like many from the UK would spell things differently from us in the US.
Where are you from, is this a question of purely UK, Canada, Australia differences or are you from a whole other place, that would make slang difficult for you to understand?

Then start stuff yourself. If an American is the one typing.... of course they are going to respond with American terminology.

I don't know what all you are reading, but lots of my friends on here are from Canada, Australia, and.... I forget where else. ;)

'I' am in the US and it's the only place I'm familiar with... as would be the case with many other of the women who also live in the US.

Oh... and 'HI!!' :)

What do you mean less american terminology. I live in the US so that's going to be how I respond, I guess I'm unfamiliar with other terminology that I should be using. Sorry :(
