Amanda I think everyone is different in what works for them. I will tell you what I used and hopefully it will help. Each night before you go to bed put a 7 up (witha straw)and a handful of saltine crackers at bedside. Before you get up out of bed- slowly chew on a saltine and take a few small sips of the 7 up. Then work your way to sitting up on the edge of the bed and continue with the crackers and soda. Keep going to you feel like you can move. Good luck!

My friend gave me Preggie Pops. They are a sweet and sour lollipop, I don't quite know why they worked for me, but they helped ALOT! I'd also recommend using a timer (find a time period that works for you) and when the timer goes off, you eat a nibble or drink a little bit. I mostly got sick when my body would ravenously get hungry, so this helps to keep that under control. You might want to keep hard candy or chewing gum in your purse at all times. Oh, and I kept granola bars in the car. Just in case.

If you are taking your prenatal before you eat in the morning then stop doing that. I found that if I took my prenatal in the morning before eating I felt the worst. Eat and THEN take the pill. Dont eat citrus in the morning either.

150mg of zantac twice a day. Ob recommended it after I was put in the hospital for dehydration. Also, Flinstones Childrens Chewables instead of your prenatal vitamins - they're easier on your tummy. It's the only thing that has worked for me. Had 24/7 morning sickness w/my daughter w/no cure. Was even throwing up in the hospital when I went into labor. Threw up right as the doctor was walking in to catch her. This pregnancy started w/the same thing until I found that zantac worked for me. Hope it works for you!

so I went out today and bought the preggie pop drops. also, I have a lot of fruit as I see most people have been saying eat citrus or smell it and that has already helped. Thank you for all the replys and a little side note.....my sister did the ganja idea with her last but ONLY as a last resort and it helped her in those dier moments when she couldn't stand it anymore....lol she would tell someone to try it if nothing else worked....

I know how you feel i was sick with my first it was bad and then the second baby it was even worse i was sick constantly i ended up in hospital about three times thank god it only lasted four months, nothing worked for me not even the maxalon the only thing that worked was these tablets i got called ondansetron wafers they stop you throwing up they are expensive but worth it you should research these on the net and go to the doctor and ask about them

I always carried with me a lime... and whenever I felt sick I will pinch on it and smell it, this helped me a lot, also drinking 7 up or mountain dew, crackers dis always the trick as well. light meals and healthy ones...rest and soothe yourself rubbing you belly and telling your baby that everything its ok.

Go to the doctor! I was very sick too like that. Couldn't keep nothing down at all. i lost 15 pounds from throwing up so much. I couldn't eat! Ask the doctor for phenegan (dont know how to spell it) it works wonders For nausea. And get plenty of rest!

If your really suffering and cant keep anything down including water go to doctors they can give you anti-sickness pills, wont stop you feeling sick but will stop you being sick,you can get into a downward spiral and end up with dehydration otherwise.If its just regular morning sickness try focusing on it will be gone soon and you'll feel full of energy,dry cracker b4 u get up is a good one too

dont know if it will work for you, but i drank the orange lucozade sport when i was pregnant. id always have a bottle handy and sip it when ever i felt like i was goin to be sick. worked wonders for me, i wasnt sick once with either of my 2!

Not alot of women know about a condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. I had it for both my pregnancies, it basically is acute sickness, check out the link to see if this is you, if not, phew! and try anything that will work and good luck x
I never had it bad but more with my son. I just nibbled all day, it seemed worse if I let my stomach get completely empty and if I tried to over eat I was very uncomfortable. Something you can try are called seabands, I found them at Walmart. They are used for seasickness. Just like a sweatband with a pressure point on the inside of your wrist. Very simple design but they really worked for the nausea when we took our first cruise. Good luck!

Sorry you having a not so good time with M/Sickness it is not nice i was diff with all 6 of mine and with my last whom now 8mth i was sick at start n sick the last mth b4 she was due. I have tried Many things all have worked in some way , Iced water , Ice , Crackers , Gingerale , Water Melon,Boiled Rice, Dry toast , I would try and have bowl of cornflakes or 2-3 slices of toast b4 going to bed as found i was not to bad when getting up and dealing with the day . Unfort our bodies do strange things and morning sickness has been said to be cuz the hormonal change. Dont really think there a SWEAR BY REMEDY unless you so bad that doctor gives you something but this is your body dealing with MAJOR CHANGE. Hope you can find something that will help . unfortunately, i have no swear by remedy for morning sickness. i have four children and was sick with ALL of them. different things seemed to work with each one. your doctor should be able to give you a list of things you can try. i would just recommend that you start trying them and see what works and stick with it. as crazy as it sounds, with my first, mountain dew helped calm my stomach and it is isn't even something i normally drank. i wish you good luck with it though, i definitely know how you feel.

keep saltines , ginger snaps, star light mints, and diet 7 up AT THE BED SIDE!! before you even get up, have a few crackers, a few ginger snaps, some 7up, and suck on the mint for a little while...get back to me if this doens't work...I'd like to know!!!

Mangos! Cold mangos. My girlfriend told me about it and it worked for both her and myself. She suffers from serious morningsickness when she's pregnant. I'm talking in the hospital w/ an IV from dehydration. But Mangos seemed to help. I hope it works for you.
