Is it possible to get morning sickness in the middle of the night? I am 4w4days pregnant with my 3rd child and last night work up in the middle of the night and threw up. I threw up 5 times total in a span of 6 hours. And still dont feel normal yet. I never had morning sickness with my other 2 pregnancies so this is new to me. Not sure if I have the flu, or if this is what morning sickness is. Any help and any advice on how to make it more tolerable I would appreciate. Thank You!

I had it in the middle of the night with both babies. I would wake up at 3 am and feel soooo gross and want to vomit. I popped a morning sickness relief tablet (vitamin b 12 and ginger tablet) and it helped it go away.

Oh, yuck. :( Morning sickness is a bad term for it. It's All-the-Time Sickness.
Smelling and eating lemons really helped me cope with those horrible weeks. Also keeping crackers by the bed, and eating just one right upon waking up.
It might be the flu, but with my son I thought I had the flu, but actually I was pregnant. It feels pretty much the same at first!
I hope you feel better soon.

Well every pregnancy is different so technically just because you didn't have morning sickness with your other two pregnancies doesn't mean you won't with this one. As for having sickness during the night, it is possible. You can have it any time of day.

My sickness during my pregnancies used to be the worst in the evening between 8pm and bedtime (at around midnight). I don't know what it was exactly. Maybe I ate too much late in the day, who knows. I found when I threw up, which was only a few times throughout my pregnancies, that I had relief afterwards. So if you are throwing up 5 times within 6 hours, I would think it could be the flu. Do you have any relief after eating or drinking something?

I had the similar issues and nothing was going to help unless I started drinking an organic tea called no to morning sickness tea.

Morning sickness is such a deceiving term. I had it ALLLLLL DAY ALLL NIGHT. I was miserable for 3 months with each of my first 2 and 4 months with this baby.

The only thing that made me feel better was eating.
I hope it ends soon for you.

It was so bad this time..that for about a 2 week period all I did was lay on the couch and think why did I want another child ..why ..whyyyyy??????

Let's just say ..although I did shower...I didn't care about anything.

You can get morning sickness anytime. With my second, I only threw up on Fridays. It was always the first thing I ate then I was fine. Weird! Saltines and water helped with quessiness afterward. Good luck!
