Motherly advise...

My mother is visiting us currently and has been with us for the past 4 months now. I have two kids - older girl and a boy. My mother very often corrects my daughter (who is just 4 yrs) or occassionally blames my daughter for things that we are not sure how happened, specially when both my kids are playing together. My son is 2 yrs old and according to my mother he can never make a mistake...:)) My mother very often corrects me on my parenting style, which is very demeaning to me. But last night she outright told me I was being partial for offering some food item to my daughter and not my son. It just so happened that she was there and I fed her the last bite of it. What do I do? My mother will be staying with us for another 2 months and I am at a point where I feel like venting but I am afraid I might hurt my mother's feelings.
