I lost my beautiful 5yr old daughter, wonderful husband, 4yr old niece, 18yr old nephew and 28yr old brother in law when an 18 wheeler hit them and were killed instantly on 7-27-2011. Now it is just me and my other two children. Since, my life has been turned upside down. I am trying to be strong for my other two children but somedays I wonder how I will make it through the day. I wanted to find a website where I could get some help or answers on how to deal with the daily heartache. No one understands what I am going through. So I wanted to find other mothers who have lost their children.

I am so sorry for your losses. I think that reaching out is such a great avenue. I lost my daughter which about put me over the edge. I can't even begin to express how much I hurt for you. Everyone has to find what helps them. I still want a friend who has the same look of loss that I do. Only living it can you truly comprehend. I hope there are support groups in your area and a good grief therapist. Books, for me at least... let me know I wasn't going crazy with all the thought and feelings that bambarded me, day and night. You need to take care of your physical and emotional needs. Easier said than done. My friends don't understand. No one can, if they are fortunate enough to have not lived it. There Is a song . A childs song. I'm not sure who does it but it is talking about getting away from a bears cave. Part of it says...you can't go over it, you can't go under it, you have to go through it. I just believe it is so true, find your way through on your terms. If I can help. Again I am so sorry.

You've suffered a great loss, you must be hurting so much right now.

It may benefit you to seek a greif councellor for you and your daughters. This type of thing is to much for you to deal with on your own. Try to go to your other family members for support. A greif councellor may also be able to direct you to more resources in your area.

Stay strong but remember there are still people who love and support you.
