Is your 11 months baby still mouthing everything he/she can put their hands on?
What sounds or words if any is your child making now?

My son was still eating everything at that age! I know the feeling of being worried, because a lot of kids have grown out of it already. He was pretty "safe" by 14 months. (of course, the week I said, "well, finally he's stopped putting everything in his mouth, and I can relax about him choking on something!" he ate 1/2 a clove of garlic, a handful of catfood, and a handful of sand.)

As for speaking, I don't think he could say anything at 11 months, maybe "Mama" if I prompted him. He could make the signs for "milk", "more", "all done". If you have a late-blooming talker, as I do, signs are VERY convenient.
