move interstate?

I really need your opinions.

My husband and I are sick of paying terribly high rent where we live.

We are thinking of moving interstate where we will only pay half the rent.

Our son starts high school next year and we would need to move schools.

Our daughter is 20 and due to her work cannot move with us.

We have done our research and all other costs of living would be the same or slightly cheaper.

We would have no family or friends if we move interstate.

Please help!!!!!!!!!

Would you move to save money or stay where you know with family?

Thank you :)

Thanks for your reply.

We're talking 18 hours drive from family.

It's a lovely little country town and I think we could be happy there.

Family is also important to us, but we could really use the savings on rent.

I guess it all depends on what is more important to you. If you will be a short distance from family, no big deal. How far are you talking? I mean really, it all depends on so much. We moved from family to be near more family 3 years ago. The place we moved to is much more expensive.
